The Journal

Editorial Standards

The Journal is written to inform, not to sell. These are the standards it holds itself to.

Authorship

Articles are written and edited by Oksana Berezhnoy, a licensed broker with direct experience in the Clark County market. Any contributing writer is named.

Sources

Claims about the market are grounded in verifiable data — public records, MLS activity, and primary sources — and cited where a reader would reasonably want to check them.

Market-Data Methodology

We use current, verified figures or none at all. We do not publish placeholder statistics, and we prefer a personally prepared briefing to a generic dashboard. Any figure carries its date and source.

Update Policy

Market conditions change. Articles that reference timely data note when they were last reviewed, and are updated or retired rather than left to go stale.

Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly and transparently. A correction is noted on the article itself; we do not silently rewrite the record.

Use of AI

Assistive tools may support drafting and editing, but every article is reviewed and approved by Oksana for accuracy. Judgment and local knowledge are never delegated to a model.

Photography Standards

Imagery represents real properties and places wherever possible. Illustrative or stand-in photography is used only when it does not misrepresent a specific home, and is never presented as a particular listing.

Conflict Disclosure

Oksana represents buyers and sellers and is compensated through real estate transactions. Articles reflect professional opinion, not independent financial or legal advice; consult the appropriate professional for your situation.
